HyrePest

For the trade

For pest control companies

HyrePest has no contracted pest control companies, no live matching and no lead volume to quote. What we have is a site that answers your customers’ questions, a published standard for every inquiry, and a list you can join now. Registering is free and commits you to nothing.

Where should I start?

  • How pest control leads work The six steps from a homeowner’s question to your phone, and what is not built yet.
  • Partner FAQ Volume, pricing, exclusivity and rankings, answered plainly, including where the answer is no.
  • Register your interest Tell us where you work and which license categories you hold. Nothing to sign.
  • Lead quality standard The eight rules every inquiry follows, published so you can hold us to them.

Why we open with what we lack. You have probably been sold a number before, so we will not open with one.

We would rather have a short, honest conversation about what a fair arrangement looks like.

What is HyrePest?

hyrepest.com publishes independent information for homeowners with a pest problem: what the signs point to, what each treatment involves, what moves the price and how to read a contract. We do no pest control work and hold no license. We intend to introduce readers to companies that can help them.

What will HyrePest never become?

  • A lead auction. One inquiry, one introduction. We do not sell one person to five companies and let you race to the phone.
  • A reseller. Every inquiry starts on this site, from someone who read a page. We buy no traffic and syndicate nothing.
  • A directory. No profiles, ratings or rankings, so there is no position to buy.
  • A review platform. We carry no reviews, because we have no policy for collecting them.
  • A badge seller. We will never call your company “trusted”. We name what we checked and let the homeowner decide.

What has a homeowner read before contacting you?

What your customer already knows matters more than a volume figure. Someone who reaches you through this site may already have read that:

  • Identification comes before treatment, and a proposal that names no species is not finished.
  • They should ask for the product name, EPA registration number, where it goes and the re-entry interval.
  • Exclusion, sanitation and moisture fixes are real work that gets quoted, not favors.
  • A first-year total is the number to compare, not a monthly fee.
  • Retreatment-only and retreatment-and-repair are different products.
  • Nothing gets signed on a doorstep.

If that sounds like a harder customer, notice who it is harder for. A company that inspects properly, names the species, quotes the exclusion work and explains the contract has had half the conversation done for it. See what we tell homeowners to check and how we explain contracts.

What would we ask of you?

The same things we tell homeowners to check. How we vet shows which checks are in place.

  • A current state applicator license, in the right category. Checked with the issuing agency, not taken from a certificate. A license in general pest control is not a license in termite work.
  • General liability and workers’ compensation. Confirmed with the carrier named on the certificate, once that check is built.
  • A written inspection before a treatment proposal. It makes proposals comparable, and it is what we already tell homeowners to expect.
  • Product details on request. Product name, EPA registration number, where it goes and the re-entry interval. EPA already tells homeowners to ask for this.
  • Contract terms stated plainly. Term, renewal, cancellation and what the guarantee covers. We do not ask you to change your terms, only to state them.
  • A reply time you can keep. Whatever you can actually commit to. A slower time that holds beats a faster one that does not.
  • Tell us when an inquiry was bad. Out of area, a duplicate, unreachable or only researching. We cannot fix what nobody reports.

What would we not ask?

  • Exclusivity. We would not charge for exclusivity we cannot deliver.
  • A minimum spend. We would not ask for one against volume we have not produced.
  • Changes to your business. Your prices, products and contract terms stay yours.
  • Review campaigns. We do not carry reviews, so we would not ask you to gather them.
  • Payment for coverage. There is no editorial mention to sell.

Questions people ask

How many leads can you send me?
None we can promise, and we will not quote a number we have not produced. HyrePest is a new site, matching is not live, and no companies are signed up. If you need a volume commitment today, we are the wrong conversation.
Do you sell the same lead to several companies?
No. One inquiry, one introduction, with the homeowner’s agreement first. We do not run an auction and we do not resell. The rules are in our lead quality standard, published so you can hold us to them.
What does it cost?
Nothing, because there is nothing live to charge for. When pricing exists it will be published here, not negotiated call by call.
Can I pay to be ranked or featured?
No. There is no ranking and no featured placement to buy. We publish no company profiles, ratings or rankings. Any business arrangement will be disclosed and kept out of the editorial pages.
What do you require of a company?
A current state applicator license in the right category, checked with the agency. Liability and workers’ compensation cover, confirmed with the carrier once that check is built. And product names and EPA registration numbers for customers who ask. That is the floor, not an achievement.
Will you call my company “trusted” or “vetted”?
No. We do not use those words about anyone, because they promise a level of checking we have not earned. When a check is done, we name the check. See how we vet.
