For pest control companies

Pest control partner FAQ

Straight answers for pest control companies. HyrePest has no contracted companies and matching is not live, so we quote no volume, sell no exclusivity and charge nothing yet. We never sell rankings, profiles or ads. Several answers below are no or not yet, and we say so.

Volume, price and exclusivity

How many leads will I get per month?

We will not quote a number. HyrePest is a new site, matching is not live and no companies are signed up, so any figure would be a guess dressed as a promise. If you need a volume guarantee now, we are the wrong conversation.

Do you sell the same inquiry to multiple companies?

No. One inquiry, one introduction, with the homeowner’s agreement first. We do not run an auction, resell or syndicate. The rules are in our lead quality standard, so you can hold us to them.

What does it cost?

Nothing, because nothing is live to charge for. When pricing exists it will be published on the site, not negotiated company by company. It will not be a minimum spend against volume we have not produced.

Can I buy exclusivity in my area?

Not today, because we cannot deliver it. We have no volume to make exclusive, so selling it would be selling you an empty room. If exclusivity ever makes sense, it will be because there is something in the area to be exclusive about.

Rankings, profiles and ads

Can I pay to rank higher or be featured?

No. There is no ranking and no featured spot. We publish no company profiles, ratings or rankings, so there is nothing to buy a position in. Any business arrangement will be disclosed and kept out of the editorial pages.

Will you write a profile page about my company?

No. We publish no company profiles for anyone, paid or unpaid. A profile implies checks and comparisons we have not made, and a page of profiles is a directory, which is not our business.

Can I advertise on the site?

No. There is no ad space and we are not selling any. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed and kept visibly separate from the guides.

What we ask of you

What do you require from a company?

A current state applicator license in the right category, checked with the agency. Liability and workers’ compensation cover, confirmed with the carrier once that check is built. A written inspection before a proposal. Product names and EPA numbers on request. Contract terms stated plainly. That is a floor, not a distinction.

Will you call my company trusted or certified?

No. We do not use those words about any company, because they promise checks we have not earned the right to claim. When a check is done, we name it and its date. See how we vet.

Do you require me to change my prices or contract terms?

No. We only ask that terms be stated plainly to the customer: the length, the renewal, how to cancel and what the guarantee covers. We have no view on what those terms should be.

Working with HyrePest

What happens if an inquiry is wrong for me?

Tell us why: out of area, wrong trade, duplicate, unreachable or only researching. We treat it as a fault in our qualification, not your problem, and we record it. A platform with no way to report a bad lead keeps sending them.

Your site tells customers to question recurring contracts. Why would I want that traffic?

Because of the customer it produces. They know to compare first-year totals, to identify before treating, and that exclusion is real work. Your proposal will not surprise them. That is harder for a doorstep spray-schedule seller and easier for a company that inspects properly.

Do you do call tracking?

Not yet. Tracking numbers are not in place, so neither of us can tie a phone call to a channel today. It is on the list, because “we think it works” is not an argument either of us should accept.

What is in this for you?

We expect to be paid for introducing homeowners to pest control companies, and the about page says so. It does not shape what we say about products, contracts or auto-renewal. If it did, the site would stop being worth reading and the introductions worth having.
