Legal
Terms of use
HyrePest publishes pest control information and does no pest control work. Nothing here is professional advice. These are the plain terms for a site that publishes guidance and, in future, will introduce homeowners to pest control professionals.
What this site is
HyrePest publishes educational information about pest control for homeowners in the United States. HyrePest is not a contractor and does not perform, supervise, inspect, warrant or finance pest control work.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, insurance or pesticide advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional assessing your specific property. Conditions, codes, licensing rules and prices vary by state, county and property. Verify anything you intend to rely on with the primary source and with a qualified professional.
Accuracy and dates
We source factual claims to government agencies, state pest control regulators, pesticide information centers and university extension services, and we date material that is time-sensitive. Rules and prices still change.
Where a page carries a “retrieved” or “updated” date, that is the date the claim was last checked, not a promise it is still current when you read it.
Third-party links
We link to external sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Future professional introductions
HyrePest intends to introduce homeowners to pest control professionals and to be paid for doing so. Any such relationship will be disclosed where it applies. An introduction is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a warranty of any company’s work, and any contract you sign is between you and that company.
Acceptable use
Please do not:

Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, HyrePest is not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of information published here.
